Política de Privacidad de Sticker.lat

Versión 1.0 Vigente desde: {{FECHA_VIGENCIA}}

Dato Origen ¿Lo ven otras personas?

No vemos tu contraseña.

10. Tus derechos

Puedes pedirnos, en cualquier momento:

Escríbenos a privacy@sticker.lat.

{{TITULAR}} — {{DIRECCION_POSTAL}}

Sticker.lat Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 Effective date: {{FECHA_VIGENCIA}}

1. Who we are

Sticker.lat is an application for creating, publishing, searching and downloading sticker packs. It is operated by {{TITULAR}}, with its address at {{DIRECCION_POSTAL}}.

For anything relating to your personal data: privacy@sticker.lat.

This policy explains what data we collect, why, who we share it with and what you can do about it. It forms part of the Terms of Use.

2. What we don't do

We start here because it is usually what people want to know:

3. What data we collect

3.1. Your account

You can use much of the app without registering. If you create an account, we store:

Data Source Visible to others?
Email address You, at sign-up, or your Google account No
Username You Yes
Internal account identifier Generated by us Yes, in your profile address
Account status (active, suspended, closed) Us No

We never see your password. Sign-up and sign-in are handled by Firebase Authentication, from Google. Our servers only receive an identity token confirming that you signed in successfully. Your password never reaches our database.

3.2. Your public profile

If you fill them in, these are visible to anyone visiting your profile: display name, biography, profile picture, cover image, website, country and links to your social networks. They are optional and you can change or delete them at any time from the app.

3.3. What you publish

Stickers, packs, their names, descriptions and tags. If you publish a pack as public, anyone can view, search for and download it.

About the photos you use: the app converts each image into the sticker format before uploading it. That conversion does not preserve the original photograph's metadata, including the location information some cameras embed in image files. We also do not keep the original file: only the converted version that gets published.

3.4. Technical and usage data

Data When it is collected Purpose
IP address When you publish content and when you accept the Terms Abuse prevention and proof that you accepted the terms
Device model and Android version When you publish content Diagnostics and abuse prevention
App version When you publish content Support
Device identifier When you view or download stickers, search, open a ticket, and for notifications Counting views and downloads, ranking popular content, avoiding duplicates and knowing which phone to send each notification to
Phone model, app version, language, country and time zone When you open the app, for notifications Sending you notifications in your language, at a sensible time and that your version can open (see section 8)
Search terms, where you searched from (you typed them, tapped a popular search...) and which result you opened When you use the search Suggestions, trends and knowing whether search finds what you are looking for
Views, downloads, favourites and follows As you use the app App functionality and rankings

The device identifier we use is the one Android assigns to the installation. It is not the advertising identifier and we do not use it for advertising.

3.5. If you contact us

When you open a support ticket, report content or rate the app, we store your message, the email address you give us and basic device information.

3.6. If you submit a copyright claim

Infringement notices legally require complete contact details. If you submit one, we store your name, email address, telephone number, postal address and your signature. These details may be provided to the person whose content is removed, as explained in the Copyright and Trademark Policy.

4. Automated content moderation

To detect prohibited content before it is published, we send each image and any text appearing in it to two Amazon Web Services products: Amazon Rekognition, which analyses the image, and Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, which analyses the text. Both run in the United States.

We do not send your identity with the content. Amazon receives the image and the text, never who uploaded them.

The text appearing on a sticker and its language are read inside your phone, using Google's ML Kit, without sending the image to Google. That text is sent along with the sticker so that search can find it by what it says.

So that search can also find each sticker by what it shows, we send its image to Amazon Bedrock, another Amazon Web Services product, which describes it with an artificial intelligence model. Your identity is not sent here either, and that description is only used to search and rank stickers.

Automated moderation can remove or hide content. If that happens we tell you, and you can appeal, as described in section 11 of the Terms of Use.

5. Who we share data with

Who What they receive Purpose Where
Google (Firebase Authentication) Email, password and your Google account details Sign-up and sign-in Google's global servers
Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) A token for your device Sending notifications Google's global servers
Google (AdMob) Advertising identifier and device context data Displaying ads Google's global servers
OneSignal Its own identifier and a token for your device Sending notifications United States
Cloudflare Image files Hosting and distributing content North America
Amazon Web Services The image and the text of each sticker Automated moderation and descriptions for search United States
WhatsApp Pack files and the author's name Only when you export a pack Per WhatsApp

We may also provide data to authorities where a law or court order requires it, and to legal advisers where necessary to exercise or defend a right.

Our servers are located in {{REGION_BACKEND}}. Because the app is available in several countries, your data may be processed outside your own. Where that happens we rely on the transfer mechanisms permitted by applicable law.

6. Why we process your data

7. Advertising

The app displays advertising through Google AdMob. For this, Google may use your device's advertising identifier.

If you are in a region where the law requires it, the first time you open the app we show you a Google consent screen where you choose whether to accept personalized advertising. You can change that choice later from within the app.

At any time you can reset or delete your advertising identifier from Android settings, under Privacy → Ads.

We do not receive your advertising identifier and we do not store it on our servers.

8. Notifications

We send five kinds of notification:

Each kind is separate: from the app's settings or Android settings you can turn off the ones you don't want and keep the rest, or turn them all off and back on whenever you like. Account notices can't be turned off in the app because they are service notices.

Notices also stay in the app's notification history (More → Notifications), even if notifications are turned off. To send recommendations at a sensible time, we store your phone's time zone along with its language and country, and the hours at which you usually open the app. We also store the phone's model and the app version, so we don't send you anything your version can't open and so we can help you if something goes wrong.

To know whether notifications are useful, the app tells us when one reaches your phone, whether it was actually shown, whether you open or dismiss it, and whether you then add the pack or sticker it recommended. It also tells us whether notifications are turned on and which kinds you turned off in Android, so we don't send you what you won't see. We keep this together with your device identifier (and your account, if you are signed in) for 90 days; after that only totals that identify no one remain.

9. How long we keep your data

Data Period
Your account data and your content For as long as the account exists
Upload records, including IP address 12 months
Views, downloads and searches (including what you open from search) 12 months
Notification history 90 days
Notification deliveries and opens 90 days
Proof of acceptance of the Terms, including IP address While the account exists, plus 4 years
Moderation file: strikes, removals and claims received 4 years from the last recorded event
Support tickets and reports 24 months
Copyright claims received 4 years

The moderation retention periods exist so that closing an account and opening a new one cannot be used to erase a history of violations.

10. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

Write to privacy@sticker.lat. We respond within a maximum of 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

11. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from More → Account → Delete account inside the app, or at sticker.lat/delete-account without needing the app installed.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone: your published packs are deleted, along with their files. Exactly what is deleted and what is kept is set out at sticker.lat/delete-account.

12. Minors

Sticker.lat is not directed to children under {{EDAD_MINIMA}} and we do not permit use below that age.

We do not collect date of birth, so we cannot verify age automatically. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone below the minimum age, we close it and delete their data.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a child in your care has created an account, write to privacy@sticker.lat and we will delete it.

We maintain zero tolerance towards child sexual abuse material, as described in section 3 of the Content Guidelines.

13. Security

Communications between the app and our servers are encrypted with HTTPS. Files stored with Cloudflare are encrypted at rest. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel.

The addresses of published files are public and do not expire: they contain a random suffix that makes them hard to guess, but anyone holding the address can open the file for as long as it exists. Do not publish as a sticker anything you would not want to be accessible.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will tell you and notify the competent authority where the law requires it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update it. We will publish the new version with its number and date, and will notify you in the app if the change is material.
